Meet Mrs. Linda Porter, M.Ed.

Mrs. Linda Porter is a dedicated educator, author, and creative professional with more than 10 years of experience in elementary education. She holds a Master of Education degree and has taught across multiple elementary grade levels, with a particular passion for literacy, writing, and helping students develop confidence in their academic abilities.

Mrs. Porter believes that every child has the potential to learn and succeed when provided with meaningful instruction, encouragement, and a supportive learning environment. She is committed to creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences that promote academic growth, creativity, and character development.

In addition to her work in education, Mrs. Porter is the author of Confessions of a Black Teacher, an inspirational book written to encourage and uplift educators through the realities, challenges, and meaningful moments of the teaching profession. She is also a singer, songwriter, and gospel recording artist, bringing her creativity and love of the arts into many areas of her work.

Mrs. Porter is currently developing Write the Vision ELA, an educational lesson-plan and literacy resource series designed to support teachers and strengthen students’ reading and writing skills.
