A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents, Students, and Members of Our Community,

It is with pride and joy that I welcome you to the Northeastern Adventist Academy – Westchester Campus (NAA-WC). Our school is more than an academic institution—it is a Christ-centered community where faith and learning are intentionally woven together to nurture the whole child. Here, students are inspired to grow spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially in a safe, supportive, and purpose-driven environment.

The Seventh-day Adventist philosophy of education forms the foundation of all that we do. This philosophy affirms that true education goes beyond the acquisition of knowledge—it is the harmonious development of the mind, body, and spirit. At NAA-WC, we are committed to guiding students into a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ, while equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to live lives of purpose, service, and excellence.

With Christ as the center of our mission and Jesus as the Master Teacher, our dedicated faculty seeks to cultivate a learning environment that promotes critical thinking, creativity, character development, and spiritual growth. We strive to instill in each student a Christ-centered worldview that shapes moral integrity, personal responsibility, and a lifelong commitment to serving others.

Our academic program is designed to challenge and inspire students to reach their highest potential. Through a rigorous and engaging curriculum in mathematics, English Language Arts, science, social studies, and Bible, students develop strong academic foundations and essential life skills. We also offer a variety of enriching electives—including STEAM, physical education, French, Spanish, music – band, choir, and bell choir—that foster creativity, collaboration, and well-rounded development.

In keeping with our commitment to excellence, we provide opportunities for leadership and personal growth through programs such as the National Junior Honor Society and Elementary Honor Society. These experiences help students develop confidence, discipline, and a spirit of service that extends beyond the classroom.

We celebrate the diversity of our student body, recognizing that each child is uniquely created in the image of God and gifted with individual talents and abilities. Our goal is to cultivate an inclusive environment where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

As partners in education, we believe that the collaboration between home, school, and church is essential to the success and development of our students. Together, we can create a strong foundation that prepares our children not only for academic achievement, but for faithful and impactful lives both now and in eternity.

As we journey together, we hold firmly to the promise found in Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

I invite you to explore our website to learn more about our programs, values, and vibrant school community. Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of educating your children. We look forward to partnering with you in this sacred mission of faith and learning. I invite you to collaborate with us here at NAA-WC as we are “Building Something Better Together” for the future generation.

Yours sincerely,

Raymond Dixon, A.S., A.S., B.S., M.Ed., AC/SBL., Ph.D., Principal Northeastern Adventist Academy – Westchester Campus
